You know you've driven too LONG when...

Made my 1st trip (without the parents) to Utah in 1 day. I drove the whole way, my cousin Amy came along. So it was fun i didn't fall asleep or anything but i made it in 10hrs long and fun but to the point of my title... I got to my brother & wife's house in Springville, UT and it was so nice to sit and relax on a comfy couch... later that night i go to bed. You know you've driven too LONG when you wake up from a dream pretending to drive. Yes i was pretending to drive i feel so stupid for doing that.

So...

I had bought an outfit for Christmas for my friend Julie's baby girl but as you all know or the people that know Julie is that she is a HARD person to get a hold of... So mid January i decide I'm in phoenix so I'll just call her parents and see if i can just drop it off there, being that she would get it sometime that and i would want Baby Delgato to fit in the outfit before it would be too late... Anyway i went over later that night to go drop off the present turns out Julie was there with her baby so here are the pictures of her cute baby girl...

So for Halloween...

I dressed up as a fairy from the new Tinkerbell movie.


Lets see if you can guess which one i might be... see there's a great choice but since i work at the Disney store i made my decision by looking at the dolls! Yeah there maybe a redhead but the one on the end on the left side had freckles! So which one did i dress up as?

I dressed up as Fawn the Fairy with the freckles and the hair closer to mine rather than a red crayon. Plus Fawns, outfit was way more modest... lol



So that is what i dressed up for Halloween i went to work in which i wasn't allowed to dress up seems weird i mean were a Disney store but we weren't allowed to dress up then i went home and got ready for the night in which i attended a Halloween party!

The Red Door House

So i forgot to mention that i had moved out of my parents house and out to Tempe, AZ into The Red Door House. It is kind of popular because when you say your in the red door house people pretty much know what your talking about but that only happens in Mormon world so you cant really ask a random person on the road if they know where the Red Door House is at. There is a total of 6 girls including myself that live here in fact we are getting a 7th crazy but that just means that utilities will go down in price rather than up which is always a good thing being that our landlord is getting away with murder right now. But its been fun living here, crazy but fun!

Moved in with me well not in the same room but were living in the same house kinda crazy 6 girls including me right now we all have our own rooms which is sweet... its been fun having Maddie live with me. And i know that when she reads this blog she may get mad at me for posting this picture but i really don't have a good picture of her so i stole one from her face book and cut the other two people out to get a solo picture so Maddie if your reading this deal with it you look good!

Julie (Marcotte) Delgato

Had her baby Sunday October 19th little baby girl Not sure what she named her baby just yet but I'm so excited and happy for them! Julie was my old roommate a couple years ago and that was good times!

Karena (Lofgreen) Goodman

Got married on Friday October 24th! its so crazy to see all my friends getting married... but I'm so happy for Karena she looked so beautiful on Friday when i went to her reception! even thinking about it now I'm still not over the fact that she is married yes.. to Mr. Turtle Man, Steve!

The Grand Tetons

So Dustin had planed a trip with the family to go on a hiking trip to the Grand Tetons in Jackson Hole, WY really pretty! So Dustin, Cadence, Quinn, Cameron, Dad and I all went on this rigorous (well to me it was rigorous) beautiful camping trip. Started on July 29th,We took the Grand Teton Crest Trail, wow i was completely not ready for this trip, thought i was but man was this a difficult trip for me i was probably the slowest one on the trip i wanted to go my pace and not be rushed more yeah I'm sure it drove other people crazy not going to mention who but it was fun i mean the area was beautiful. Crazy to think that its completely serene out there but that's what happens being out in the mountains.


Most of our days would consist of going up and down mountains we would probably go up and down areas like 3-4 times before we set down to camp over night see in that picture of me see where my head is right about it that mountain area we were there earlier in the day and that picture was taken after lunch crazy i still can't believe i survived!


Yes we were told there would be bears and we were given these big black obnoxious thick plastic containers to put our food in so the bears wouldn't be able to get to our food.

We ditched those in the car because we didn't want to carry the extra weight. Sides we never did see a bear out on the trails or at night. Just deer, squirls, marmots, chipmunks. Although that bear sign genius! Piece of unlamented paper taped to the tree with electrical tape!



The Group! We were suppose to stay out on the trails till August 4th but we bummed out a day early because Cameron chipped her tooth i was tired out and my knee was killing me and we just decided as a group well minus Dustin and Cadence that, that was what we wanted to do and that it was the best for all of us to go home.

24th of July

(Yes a late post i know i will have a few late posts but i have pictures so I'm going to share...)

24th of July was Spent up in Utah at my Aunt Becky's Crazy House. I say crazy because for one thing Gabe, my cousins little boy ok he's more along the age of 8 but still i would say he is spoiled because his room is ginormous and AWESOME at the same time.
Crazy that it can be two but its true... its also crazy because its still in construction i mean the rooms and the bathrooms are pretty much done but not at the same time sorry didn't take pictures of that just Gabe's room.

Family Gathering as always a few crazies ok few is a bit of an understatement but still fun and dogs and food and rock band, (yeah not a fan of that rock band havent played it i know kinda bad to say you dont like something when you havent tryed it, its like karaoke i do like disney karaoke where you can change your voice because it makes playing it more fun because then you dont have to worry about hearing people sing BAD, rock band may be different but id rather just play a real instrument.) and also the best part of 24th of July celebrations with the Family up in Utah is my cousin Chris and his COLLECTION (i say collection like that because he has like a suitcase full and then some) of fireworks and things that go BOOM!?!


So we all set out in the front yard ok more like on the street on either side of the street. Cameron & I decided we would get a better view on the other side of the street and my Uncle Keese told me to get out of the street because i "could get hit by a car" yes its true a car is going to come sppeding down the street and go straight towards two girls sitting on chairs in front of parked car, yeah right!!! the cars that came down that street were going like 5 at the most! Anywho So the night was fun fill of firework smoke and good food!

Adrian

Early morning seminary freshman year.
Well i don't remember where i exactly met him but he went to my high school, I remember Brother Cannon telling me to, "keep an eye on him and make good friends with him" or something along those lines. So that's what i did.
We went to dances together, those were the days going to tri-stake dances with our dance cards and $2.
One Saturday night, the night in which the dances were held, me, Julie, and Adrian went to go see Spiderman just before and then we walked over to the dance. That night at the movie was probably my happiest moment of him, We totally held hands the whole way though.
Since that moment every chance i really got to have friends over i would, Adrian was like my best friend, ok more like he is my best friend.
We would usually end up playing Super Mario Kart upstairs on my N64.
He would be always be: Yoshi
Either that or watch movies, go swimming, or just talk mostly it would be on the phone late at night.
One time he went to one of my choir concerts and he gave me a rose, which by they way i think i still have.
So i convinced him to join Choir the next year. Which he did.
The next year in Seminary well every time he would look at me i would just get those bubbly butterfly feeling in my stomach.
One time we were talking on the phone and he said that he was going to make me a necklace. Which he did but it ended up being too small, it wouldn't fit over my head. So he made me another one.
Freshman year 6th hour we would write each other notes but we wouldn't give it to each other till we passed each other between the bell starting of 7th hour.
(if that made any sense cause it made perfect sense in my head, oh well)
Right before break in between semesters Adrian's Family moved away to Parker, Co
He sent me one letter.
&
Called me once.
I send him letters, but no reply to any of them, they don't even get returned.
I honestly don't even know if he is even alive or not.
So i write this as a memory of Adrian, he's what made me the quirky person i am today and the person who will always care no matter what!

Animal Kingdom

So last weekend probably the 20th of October or so I was just surfing the web looking for jobs because I wanted to do something fun. I then came across this site that listed a few jobs an what they needed, the requirements an pay but before hand you had to pos your resume an fill out this thing so you can sign on each day to check for new one or send them your resume, so that’s what I did I came across animal kingdoms page an marked the stores that I could work at an which are close to me.
So Tuesday October 24th comes around an I’m getting ready for school when my phone rings I have no idea whose number it is so I ignore it an go on getting ready for school. On my way to school I check my voice mail an its the manager of Animal Kingdom at metro centre mall an he wants to talk to me... so immediately after listening to that message I call Kelly back an set up a time to meet with him, which would be right after class... I show up to Animal Kingdom 10 mins early an walk around when he's free I meet with him turns out I guess he really liked what he saw on my resume an how I was that he hired me on the spot.
The next day was my 1st day on the job I had to be there at work at 6am err super early... so I had to wake up at 5:10am to get ready. I show up an I have no idea how to get in so I call the store an Sue try’s directing me where to go on the phone. I get in a start working cleaning out kennels. Later Sue taught me how to give meds to the dogs, then we gave them their vaccinations it was a crazy morning, it was so HOT in the store I came unprepared to work, forgot to bring water... but none the less it was great fun... I’m still working there so far since Wednesday the 25th I’ve been working everyday... an I am so sore from being on my feet all day, its crazy insane... but none the less FUN!

THE BREAK UP.... or so i thought!

Monday October 9, 2006: I'm scared of love; I’m scared to have someone love me. To me when someone loves you it means its really serious an sure I do love serious relationships but I don't know what I would do if someone proposed to me or broke off the relationship because life wouldn’t be so fun but I won't be so down in life I’ll still continue to enjoy what I have left.

I get a message from the guy I’m dating saying that he wants to end it and that its not working... not working on his end... well I’m not sure...he just felt bad because he wasn't spending too much time with me an that well he's moving in December an he doesn’t want to hurt me even more when he does move away... I get that part but I liked what him and I had because I didn’t have to ask for space I automatically had it...

So when that happened I asked for him to meet up with me tonight because I wanted to see him one last time...

Sitting in the passengers seat of my car he pulls up walks up to my car I unlock the doors instead of getting out he walks around open up the drivers side an jumps in. he starts to be all cutesy an then of course I have to bring up my feet being sore because of running around the church backwards bear foot.... so I got out of the car an just walked out towards a picnic table an sat down, he later joins me... an we just sit there he starts doing his cutesiness (not a word I know)

Then I go to hug him because I just wanted to be close to him for awhile longer before we went our separate ways, I pull away an look at him, he returns the look an then he kisses me....

thats just how it is...

Beauty and simplicity.

It’s everywhere and in everything.

To me a flower is beautiful and it’s simple. It may have a few flaws say thorns. But it’s still simple.

Everyone is beautiful well guys are handsome, but that’s not the point. We all have our thorns in life that protect us from danger.

We are all simple and complicated but nonetheless we are all simple in our own ways just like a flower there are many flowers out there.

Flowers are involved in many different ways:
-Birthdays
-Valentines day
-Thank you’s and your welcomes
-Funerals
-Anniversaries
-Dates
-Weddings
-Etc.

We all are involved in those times as much as some of them we really don’t want to but it comes and goes... enjoy what you have

Flowers die but when you dry them right you can keep them always unless for some bad reason you’d rather just destroy them do what you want with them it is your choice!

Love...

Love comes in many ways:
• Family
• Friends
• Dating Interests (bf/gf)
• Animals
• Work
• Etc.

Don’t you just love, love?

It’s simple and great, sometimes it hurts, sometimes it makes you cry but not for the wrong reasons.

Sometimes it can be hard. And other times you just don’t want it to happen.

But guess what it will happen! It will happen when you lease expect it to happen.
And that’s why I love LOVE!

We all need love in our lives; with out it sadly enough life might be depressing!

Love comes in many ways.

Choose to accept it or not it will come with out your consent.

So let it happen don’t be scared, it wont scare you unless you want it too, it wont hurt you unless you want it too, it wont make you cry for the good reasons unless you want it too.

So love is what makes everyone who they are, even if you disagree with me it is so true! You can love something or someone with out even telling them that you love them that’s the craziest thing about love and I love….
